Our Pastors

Each member of the church is gifted by the Holy Spirit and so serves in some capacity. Our pastors are men we have recognized as teachers gifted by God to teach and proclaim the Scriptures. Our pastors lead others to Christ through the encouragement of the Scriptures.

  • Charlie Nason

Pastor Charlie is a sinner saved by grace! Charlie grew up in Arizona, Oregon, and California moving from location to location until finally landing in the Bay Area, where he has lived all his adult life. At age 31, after much running and rebellion, the Holy Spirit breathed new life into Charlie and he became devoted to the living Christ.

Following salvation, Charlie received his undergraduate training from The Master’s University studying Organizational Management. Also, he completed his seminary education at The Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, California gaining an M.Div.

He is convinced that God’s power unto salvation is exerted through the proclamation of the gospel of the glory of Jesus Christ. He preaches and teaches according to this belief.

Alongside pastoring, Charlie teaches at a local Christian high school (in subjects of Bible, Theology, Worldview, and Logic) and periodically at The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. He has also written a book, Gospel Powered: Anticipating the Power of God in Christ-Centered Apologetics.

He does all of this with the help and support of his wife Anna, an adult daughter, adult son, and three children.

  • Mike Fong

Pastor Mike was born and raised in Berkeley, California, more or less growing up in the church, with earliest memories dating back to a kindergarten Sunday school class. However, he did not enter the Kingdom of God until freshman year in college after the Holy Sprit wrought a godly sorrow over sin, producing repentance unto salvation. Later Mike earned a BA from San Jose State University, and some years later an M.Div. from Golden Gate Baptist Theolgical Seminary.

He and his wife, Suzanne have been married for 25 years and have two young adult children.

He is a staunch believer that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life, the One Mediator between God and man, in Whom all the fullness of deity dwells bodily, and that the Scriptures, which were written about Him, are able to make one wise unto salvation.

  • Fernando Quintero

Pastor Fernando was born and raised in Richmond, CA. Although he was brought up going to a Christian church, Fernando lived in rebellion to Christ and his Word. By God’s grace and mercy, he saved him from a life involving gangs, drugs, and violence. After many years of indulging in his sin, God granted him the gift of repentance and regenerated him by the power of the Holy Spirit, which brought about new life in Christ Jesus.

Ever since his conversion, he felt inclined to ministry. Shortly after, he entered Bible college and earned his BA in Biblical Studies, and then an M.Div from Grand Canyon University.

Fernando and his wife, Hefzi, have been married for six years and have two young boys.

He is convinced that it is only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. His passion is to preach and teach the Word of God so that the people of God may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).

  • Victor Tostado

Pastor Victor was saved by the grace of God in Christ Jesus! He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Victor grew up Roman Catholic and though he had heard of Jesus he never knew Jesus. But by the grace of God, his eyes were opened to the truth of God in his Word through the Protestant Church.

Following salvation, he served his church any chance he could get. He assisted with ushering, helping with the music and sound, and evangelizing; being compelled to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Victor was called to pastoral ministry during the pandemic; when most churches closed, God called him to serve His church. Victor is currently studying for his undergraduate degree in Biblical studies to become a better equipped to pastor the people of God, entrusted to him. Victor is also a skilled barber in the El Sobrante area.

Victor recently got married to his wife Yinja, who has been a blessing to him through prayer and support as he balances pastoral ministry, seminary education, and barbering.

Victor is convinced that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. As in the  gospel of grace through which we are given the free gift of salvation because of the finished work of Christ Jesus, which we find in God’s all sufficient, infallible and inerrant Word, Victor is committed to the proclamation of God’s Word to the lost, in order that in Christ the lost may be found.
